Bundt Bread
Description:
For different flavors add herbs or cheese. I like to add 1 3/4 cups of shredded cheddar.
Ingredients:
1 pkg. dry yeast 2 eggs 1/2 cup warm water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup warm milk 2 T butter 3 1/2 cups flour
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs and salt. Stir in milk and yeast. Mix well. Add flour. Beat and cover. Let rise 1 hour. Stir down and pour into sprayed bundt pan. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes; increase heat to 375 degrees and bake for 20 more minutes. Should be golden brown when done.
