Lemon Squares

“Very buttery and lemony!”

1 c. butter softened
2 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar

Combine above ingredients with a pastry blender until crumbly

Put into a 13”x 9” pan and pat down until smooth and compact.
Bake crust at 350° for 20 minutes or until edges are brown.

4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
4 T. lemon juice

Mix above ingredients
Pour over baked crust and return to oven for 18 – 20 minutes or until filling is firm and not soupy.

While hot – sprinkle confectioners’ sugar over bars

Cool completely before cutting into squares.
