Spiced Pecans

"A batch of these makes a lovely hostess or holiday gift."

1 egg white
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cold water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. pecan halves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Beat egg white slightly. Add the water and continue beating until frothy but not stiff. Fold in pecans. In a small bowl, combine sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add to pecan mixture and stir to evenly combine. Spread in a buttered 9" x 13" pan. Bake in a preheated 250 degrees oven for 1 hour, stirring once or twice. Cool and package in pretty jars or cans as a lovely hostess or Christmas gift.
