The Inns at Greenleaf Lane

The incomparable location at the gateway to the Boothbay Harbor Peninsula offers oceanfront and harbor views. Sit by the private fireplace in your room or soak in the hot tub that overlooks the harbor. Groups will find the living room in the main house perfect for ocean view gatherings. Stay the weekend of the 50th Anniversary of the Windjammer Days Festival and enjoy a party on the last day of the event, June 27th. Experience fireworks like you’ve never seen before while overlooking the harbor from the front porch! Enjoy a complimentary buffet and drinks (guests only).
The Welch House Inn
Boasting 90 years in the hospitality business, this 140-year-old home first opened its doors to boarders in 1922. The work of local artists graces the walls of this inn overlooking the harbor. After dropping off your bags in one of the fourteen rooms order a bottle of wine from the extensive list and then relax in the library with a book. Or choose to feel the warmth of the sun on the deck or the heat of the fire from the stone fireplace.
“It’s Our Anniversary” Package: Stay two or three nights, June through September in a king or queen harbor view room (Best Available) and get a bottle of wine, two passes to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and a $75 gift card for dinner at either Boathouse Bistro, McSeagull’s, or Mine Oyster. That’s a total of $425.00 +tax for two nights ($110.00 off) or $550.00 +tax for three nights ($190.00 off).
The Topside Inn
This inn features 20 rooms, three buildings, and the highest point in town. Walk the two acre grounds to enjoy views of the lighthouses, islands, the sunrise, and the sunset. Conveniently located in town, it’s only a one minute walk to restaurants, shops, and art galleries. After a long day of sightseeing, enjoy an afternoon cookie, brownie, or other treat. The front lawn is perfect for croquet or bocce.
Grab a blanket and a picnic and climb the hill to this Inn. Grab a piece of grass for the best view of the Fireworks on June 27th (the last day of the Windjammer Days Festival). The innkeepers open up the property to the general public and distribute lollipops and treats to all that come. Parking is down the hill and in the neighborhood…well worth the walk.
Harbour Towne Inn On The Waterfront
A historic Victorian bed and breakfast considered the “finest B&B on the waterfront,” this inn is second generation family owned and operated. Guests can stroll through the gardens or relax in the harbor view parlor or outdoor deck. This elegant inn is just steps from restaurants, shops, and boating excursions. All rooms have modern amenities but are decorated with a romantic Victorian charm.
“443 Special” – stay four consecutive nights and only pay for three during Windjammer Days. Finally, build your own traditions in this family-owned B&B where Windjammer Flapjacks are filled with Maine blueberries and topped with local maple syrup. Guests can find both items in the local farmers market in town.
Bold Colorful Life Inn
Get away from it all at this peaceful waterfront retreat situated six miles from Boothbay Harbor. Built on an old salt farm, the idyllic 15 acres includes waterfront fields, stone walls, woods, apple trees, lilacs, and gardens. The estate houses four buildings, one dating back to the 1700s. Borrow a boat and paddle out to see a pair of nesting bald eagles and the playful seals or simply relax in a hammock.
Stay for three nights during the 50th Anniversary Windjammer Festival (June 25, 26, and 27) and the third night is free (three nights for the price of two). Book three paid nights or more in June and receive a 15% discount off the rates. This is a great opportunity to plan family reunions, corporate retreats, weddings, and long vacations.
The Thistle Inn
Sailing vessels that have visited Boothbay Harbor lend their names to the six guest rooms at this inn. Guests don’t have to travel far for a fantastic meal, there is a restaurant on-site with fine cuisine and casual fare. The large private porch is the ideal spot for breakfast or an afternoon cocktail. Those that enjoy a good story will want to ask about the barroom brawls, the YMCA, and other tales from the building’s long history.
This Inn is coming up on its 50th Anniversary and is known for the incredible fresh, local seafood, amazing happy hour and a brand new deck where one can enjoy it all.
