Description:
Very close friends of ours, Tom and Clair Aycock gave me this recipe. During the fall and winter months this is a wonderful addition to our country breakfast at Grandma's Cottage B&B Ingredients: 1- Can sliced peaches (29oz) (1 lb 13 oz) 1-Can of pear halves (29oz) (1lb 13 oz) 1-Can Pineapple Tidbits (20 oz) 1- Stick Butter (no Substitute) 1/2 - Teaspoon cinnamon 1- Teaspoon curry powder 1/2 - Cup brown sugar (May add other canned fruit according to your taste) Directions: Drain all the fruit into a large bowl and cut the fruit into chunks. Set aside Add spices, butter and sugar and bring to a boil. Pour the hot spiced syrup over the fruit and stir until all is coated. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until heated through. Will keep in refrigerator for a least one week. May make the night before, place in fridge and bake the next day.
