Only 6 ingredients makes this tasty Christmas cookie fun and easy to make. Very kid friendly...I know our children have made these cookies every year since 1976..now the grandchildren make em'. Make plenty..Santa's little elves eat them up! Ingredients: 1 - Stick butter 30 - Large marshmallows 1 - Tablespoon vanilla 1 - Teaspoon green food coloring 4 - Cups corn flakes Handful red hot dot candies Directions: Melt butter and marshmallow in a heavy saucepan. Remove from heat and add vanilla, green food coloring and corn flakes. Stir until corn flakes are coated. Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper. Place a few red hot dots on each cookie. Place in airtight container for storage.
