Mommy's Dumplings 
Description: 
This recipe was one of the few that came from my mother. Use it for chicken and dumplings or ham and dumplings.
  
Ingredients: 
1 - Cup all-purpose flour 1/4 - Cup coarse cornmeal 1 - Tablespoon baking powder 1/2 - Teaspoon salt 1/2 - Cup milk 1 - Large egg, beaten Pepper to taste
  
Directions: 
Mix all ingredients very well. Drop by hand pinches onto boiling meat broth. Once all dumplings are in boiling broth cover with a lid and let cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
