Cinnamon Crunch Coffee Cake
Description:
A coffee cake to mix the night before and serve to your guests warm from the oven in the morning. Ingredients: 2c. All purpose flour 1t. baking powder 1t. baking soda 1t. cinnamon 1/4t. salt 2/3c. softened butter 1c. granualted white sugar 1/2c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1c. buttermilk 1/4c. packed brown sugar 1/2c. chopped walnuts 1/2t. cinnamon 1/4t. nutmeg Directions: 1.Sift first five ingredients and set aside. 2.Cream margarine, sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. 3. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, beat well after each addition. 4.Spread in greased, floured 9x13 inch pan. Combine 1/4 c brown sugar, nuts and spices. Mix well sprinkle over batter. Refrigerate overnight. 5.Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Check after 40 minutes.
