Gingerbread Muffins

The aroma is heavenly!

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon lemon rind
1/2 cup raisins, dredged in flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating between each addition. Stir in molasses and sour cream.
Sift together the next 5 ingredients; add to the creamed mixture. stir in the raisins. Pour into greased muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes until tester comes out clean.
