Russian Tea Cakes
Description:
Great for gift giving too!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 2 1/4 cups flour, sikted 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon almond extract 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, extracts and walnuts. Form into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Watch carefully! While warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. When cool, roll in additional sugar.
